Casa Name: Hostal Azalea y Alfredo
Address: Calle Frank Pais (Carmen), between Piro Guinart (Boca) & Fidel Claro, Trinidad, Cuba.
Our Casa: We were one of the first Casa Particulares to open in Trinidad, back in 1994. Our Casa was built in 1840, it is a colonial building with high ceilings, original walls and floors. We have welcomed many people to our home from various countries, and have made many friends, who sometimes return to stay with us in our home. Our home is within walking distance of the Casco Historico, the historical centre. We have a large terrace on the first floor where all our guests can relax and enjoy the views over Trinidad.
The Host: Our names are Azalea & Alfredo, we have a small Chihuahua dog and we can speak English and French. I am a retired Math’s teacher and my husband Alfredo is a historian. We can offer a breakfast and dinner service as well as organise local excursions.
Our rooms: 2 bedrooms on the ground floor and 1 bedroom on the first floor. Two of the rooms have 2 double beds and one of the rooms has 1 double bed.
