Address: Calle Cienfuegos (Santo Domingo), between Frank Pais & Pedro Zerquera, Trinidad, Cuba.

Our Casa: We opened our Casa in December 2015 and offer 1 guest bedroom on the 1st floor in a private part of our home. We have an outdoor covered area with the use of a refrigerator, as well as an open area with views over to Playa Ancon. Our Casa is in the centre of town, only a short walk from Parque Cespedes, the CADECA and the Banco Financiero Internacional (BFI).

The host: My name is Margarita Simón Espinosa and I am a retired Teacher of languages and can speak English. I enjoy welcoming guests into to my home, and offer privacy to my guests.

Our room: We have 1 bedroom on the 1st floor, it has 1 double bed and 1 single bed.

What didn't you like?
The mattress is slightly worn.
ETRC comments - The mattresses are only a couple of years old. It is difficult to find good quality mattresses in Cuba so the families do their best to maintain the ones they have.

General Comments
Casa Slovenia was a very good choice! We loved Margarita and Fidel. They are such good hosts, very friendly, willing to talk about Cuban daily life, acommodating, helping us to find our way around Trinidad and the beautiful coutryside surrounding the city. They lent us bikes to go to the beach and even organized a driver to go to Valle de los Ingenios who spoke german. For us it definitely was one of the best experiences in Cuba!
