About the Guide

David is an Engineer in Telecommunications, he lives in Havana, he is very passionate about street photography and has been taking photos for around 6 years, for which he has already received many awards.

Street photography is like a box of surprises or like a “safari” you never know what you are going to find or what you are going to “shoot”, this makes the experience more challenging and fun.

David speaks English and loves to get to know people from all over the world, to share photography experiences and to share his vision of this unique and wonderful city.

About the photo experience

The photography experience will show you Havana from the inside, to give you an insight of the people and their way of life, as well as to help you to understand Cuba.

Throughout the photography experience David will guide you by giving you useful photographic tips, enabling you to take better photos of Havana and of Cuba.

The best moment is early morning, when the streets are less busy and the light is perfect, but the photo tour can be personalised according to your desires and aspirations. David seeks out original and beautiful places to photograph which captures the people, urban art and the architecture of the city.

Can anyone take the photo experience?

Yes, this experience is for both professional and amateur photographers interested in photography. You can use a professional camera or a smart phone.

All you need is the ability to observe, to be comfortable with your equipment and David will show you all the hidden places and tell you a bit about the history of the setting surrounding you.
